I love this style of indie rock, the guitars are fluid, the vocal is a tad innocent and twee. I think the track has some grit, it’s kind of lo-fi and bedroom sounding but really drives hard and feels authentic. I can appreciate that.
Both accomplished performers and musicians in their own right, the West Virginia duo of Melissa Wright and Daniel Zezeski have crafted a lush soundscape of indie modern country rock. After shedding some wanderlust and giving over to their adventurous natures seeking themselves and the art that is buried within, the two have come out with “At The Fair,” the first single from “Thumbs Up Angel.”
